Sermon 12-05-10 "Behind Every Door"

The word Advent means "coming" or "arrival." The season of Advent is a double focus on past and future. As followers of Christ, we affirm that He has broken into humanity with his birth 2,000 years ago. We also affirm that He is present in the world today, and that He will come again in power. This results in a profound sense that we live "between the times" and are called to live lives of radical commitment to his mission.
