Life: The One Worth Living

It is said that man lives and dies by words. And this is completely true. Today we hear the words bringing a convicted death and also a vibrant life. The coming of Christ into our world and our lives brings with it a promise of eternal life. Paul says that if we remain in the Spirit given to us through Christ, we will have eternal life. In order to remain in the Spirit a life beyond ourselves is essential. We are told in the world to live life like it is your last day or that life is short and to dwell on what brings pleasure today. But, dwelling on the momentary will only bring momentary promise. To dwell on the Spirit brings eternal life.
