Why does the New Testament speak so much of Jew and Gentile relationships? Who are Jews and Gentiles? One of the most significant isuues facing the early church was the racial and ethnic tension brought about by the church's inclusion of Gentile believers. There was much theological debate over who was included in God's promises, and how they came to be included. The church still wrestles with racism, culturalism, and classism. What does it mean for the church to be unified and yet so diverse? And how shall we get along within this one, holy Christian church?
